Paint protection film prices.
Two ways to cover a car, priced by vehicle class. Frontal takes the front end and includes a four-year ceramic coating on everything the film does not reach. Full covers every painted panel. Both are Shield Teck, both carry the ten-year warranty.
Prices by vehicle class.
What frontal actually covers.
Frontal PPF is the bonnet, the front bumper, the headlights, the fender arches, the windshield arches, wing mirrors and a strip across the roof behind the windshield. Those are the panels that take the stone chips, and they are the ones worth armouring first. Everything the film does not reach gets a four-year ceramic coating instead, with nano ceramic coating on the glass at no extra charge. Interior PPF on the screens and consoles is included. The film takes the impacts at the front, the coating makes the rest of the car slick so dirt lets go and washing gets easier. Full PPF skips that trade-off and puts film on every painted panel.
What moves the price.
Preparation. The figures above are for film going onto paint that is ready for it, and getting paint ready is eight steps before a single panel is covered: two decontamination washes, a clay bar, a pH-neutral snow foam, paint correction polishing your paint actually needs, a ceramic sealant polish, and one more wash to take the polish residue off. Shield Teck is crystal clear, so whatever the paint looks like on the day is what you will be looking at through the film for the next ten years, and it is a great deal harder to reach once the film is on. If the paint needs heavy correction, that is what moves the number.
Finish is the other one. The published prices are for gloss clear, which lifts the car’s gloss factor by 30%. Matte and the full colour range are quoted separately.

Send the make, model, year and colour, and tell us honestly whether the paint has swirls in it already. Correction is the step that moves the price, so we would rather look at the car than guess. Kyalami, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Still weighing this up against a ceramic coating? We put the two side by side.
